1 April and an April Fools joke, of course. The Swedish tabloid newspaper Aftonbladet wrote about UEFA’s demands that Max should close its doors to visitors during the Junior European Football Championships.Bearing in mind what date it is, I thought it was an April Fools joke, but it is, in fact, completely true!
You don’t have to be a PR guru to realize that Max is rubbing its hands in delight.
Wow, finally some light at the end of the tunnel. You may remember that MinimizeMe was nominated for the Golden Egg award, and after swallowing a box of Panodil, Pia and I travelled to the Stockholm Concert Hall venue. Met Max and their PR agency, GCI, who have been nominated for the Golden Egg. The whole Golden Egg event is organised by people in the PR industry for people in the PR industry, and was rather boring for the uninitiated. But after the break, it was time for Minimize Me’s category, PR. The excitement was tangible, and I was convinced that Medicins Sans Frontieres would win their “SMS away a coffin” entry, which was one of the few entries I even recognised.
I wonder if there will soon be a YouTube video of Erik & Mårten from GCI going wild with delight?
